About Carol…

Carol Emerson is dedicated to the teacher-student relationship. Educated as a teacher and with over 25 years of experience as a clinical social worker, she is passionate about Change. Her curiosity compels her to seek education and collaboratively express what she discovers through metaphors and layering paper.

Carol is a lifetime fiber artist and her workshops are a beautiful integration and extension of her life’s work. Always the teacher - always the student, movement into the unknown is her specialty.

Art at a new level

This series, called Find Me in the Hills, was done over a 4 year period. It captures Carol’s healing process through love and loss and grief. She was emotional when she watched this because the ache was so large. Today through integrating the healing of many heart wounds, she shares this with you with deep tenderness. The art holds her story and she’s forever grateful that her journey is captured in a series of images. This series along with Chopin’s music speaks soul to soul.

The unconscious made conscious is art at a new level.
